Hailing from Boston, this quintet known as Bars is dirty rock-punk made by members of other quite popular hardcore bands that have graced the EVR roster. Being a huge fan of The Hope Conspiracy, I can’t help but love this. Kevin’s voice sounds as raw and intense as ever, and the music is more in the vein of The Bronx meets The Suicide File. Jarrod’s drumming is crisp and to the point all and the guitars pummel through one song after another. In ten songs we are introduced to what may just be the next serious endeavor for these veteran players, and if they step it up just a tad “the kids” will be all over them in no time.
