How did you come up with your band name?
Brad:
Although we are not a Christian band we got it from the Bible,
In the last chapter, “Revelations” talks about how we as humans have destroyed
our earth which led God to send down horsemen to destroy it so he can rebuild it into the world that we live in today. That’s our way of saying that we as humans are
repeating history and we need to be aware of what we are doing to our world.
Rigo:
Yeah, Brad likes to read the bible while using the bathroom.
Which venue in San Diego is your favorite and why?
Band:
House shows are always fun to do. We love the energy and the familiar faces. It’s like coming home to a surprise birthday party. And plus, there’s nothing like a few teenage girls duking it out in a backyard (you know what we’re talking about San Diego). By the way, here we come Soma!
In the next 5 yrs where do you each see Comes the Horsemen?
Rigo:
Hopefully on a major record label touring our buttox’s off.
Brad: What Rigo said but making a tour diary wouldn’t hurt, maybe drop by Tokyo!
Danny: I just want to fulfill my dream of playing a sold out crowd with front row fans reaching out.
Julio: I see this band in the next 5 years having shows everyday, going from coast to coast having the greatest times of our lives.
Omar: Pretty much what they said, on the road having a blast and living the dream.
Who are your favorite bands/biggest influences on the music you write?
Julio: The biggest influence I’ve had as of now has been, Bring Me the Horizon and I Killed the Prom Queen.
Rigo: What Julio said, with Grace Gale and Still Remains.
Brad: Umm, id have to say my biggest influences are Metallica, As I Lay Dying, and Destroy The Runner
Danny: Radiohead, Coldplay, Bring Me The Horizon, Elysia, Knights of the Abyss
Omar: The Black Dahlia Murder, Bring Me The Horizon, Elysia, Suicide Silence
What CD’s are in each of your cars right now?
Danny: Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, The Beatles, and techno so I can get down.
Brad: MOTHS, Master Of Puppets, and Saints.
Rigo: Music for the Recently Deceased – IKTPQ. Under the Bright Lights – The Haven. The Serpent – Still Remains. and Genesis – Job For A Cowboy(even though it sucks)
Julio: I don’t have a car, but if I did I would have Beautiful Lie album by 30 Seconds to Mars.
Omar: Frail Words Collapse- As I Lay Dying
How do you describe your sound?
Rigo – I’m not going to say that we sound like no one out there because no one is original. But as far as a Genre goes, I’d say we play Melodic Metalcore.
Brad: A mix between everything that sounds awesome.
Danny: Brutal.
Julio: Our sound is the vibe of everyone’s body.
Omar: an explosion of flavor in your mouth.
How do you feel about the local San Diego music scene?
Julio: It’s not the same from months ago.
Rigo: What Julio said.
Brad: SD’s music scene is like no other, its absolutely nuts
Danny: I feel we have our fans very involved in the music because of the response they give. And we love it because we feed off their energy.
Omar: Good crowds, good shows
What is the biggest thing about the band that you want to improve?
Band: When we get a better singer!
Danny: I’m sorry I don’t spend hundreds of dollars on hush racks and tubes to enhance my voice, im all natural baby. J
Brad: We are all very happy and satisfied with where we are and what we are
Doing but of course there is always room for improvement.
Rigo: In all seriousness, we’re a stable group, but with time we’ll all mature, I think that’s what we need most.
Omar: We are all very dedicated musicians, and over time I think our music will develop to become better and better.
Any last words?
Brad: Yeah, make sure to come check us out and don’t be afraid to say what’s up, we love talking to y’all.
Rigo: And make sure to help us out for this years’ “Taste Of Chaos” well need all your help!
