We caught up with Adam from Arm the Angels for a quick follow-up interview to the band's recent CD review.

How do you feel about the way “Novus Ordo Seclorum” came out?  Is there anything you’d like to go back and fix if you had the chance?

We are very critical when it comes to recording tracks. There is always something we want to add when we are listening back to a track but there comes a time when you just have to say ‘you know what, I think this track sounds great, we're done here.’

How would you describe the album, and what type of music fans do you think it appeals best to?

The album is definitely diverse as far as music style. We don't like to constrain ourselves to one certain style. Just write what comes naturally. The lyrics however are deep and talk about pain as well as resolve.  I think our music would appeal to anyone who likes catchy hooks rooted with deep lyrics. These songs were definitely written to help get through painful times and they definitely helped me heal. I look at music as therapy and also so I don't have pay a shrink.

How has the response been so far?

The response has been great! We are starting to build a nice fan base as well as gain some moment so we can get on a tour this summer.

What was the recording process like?

The recording process was great. Everything came together very nicely and we all got along for the most part. We spent around 2 to 3 weeks recording and mixing.  Time spent in the studio always goes by so fast and we really wanted to spend more time recording but we couldn't find a tree that grew money.

Have the Agent 51 and Pivit connections helped or hurt the band?

I think they have helped more than have hurt. Our music is much different from those 2 bands though.

What’s next for the band?

We need to nationally distribute our album and get ready to tour! We are in the process of getting on iTunes and are making some sick merch!

Anything else you’d like to add?

We are hoping a record deal is in the making and also a sponsorship from a few companies so we can get on tour.  Any help of course is greatly appreciated these days. We look forward to playing as many shows as we can and having a very successful year!
