KCR is a independant, commercial-free free-form radio station. The signal is not very strong, it doesn't even reach accross the whole campus, but on campus it is 1620 AM. It is also 98.9FM on Cox Cable, and ch. 42 Time Warner Music Choice and can be heard on the internet at www.kcrlive.com. The DJs have 2-4 hour blocks that they do their show in, and can play whatever they want, except what commercial radio is already playing.

Attn Local Bands: KCR is looking to expand its local music section. All local bands are encouraged to send in their CD (no demos will be accepted, but self-released CDs are okay). Make sure to include band and contact information. Every CD received WILL get airtime.
